Professor Hossein Bonakdari Appointed Associate Editor of Highlights of Sustainability
Hossein Bonakdari, Ph.D., P.Eng., earned his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Caen-France. He has worked for several organizations, most recently as a faculty member of the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
His areas of specialization and interest include water resources management, hydrological modelling, artificial intelligence, sustainable development and time series. His research has been published in more than 270 papers in international journals (h-index = 46). He published two books and has more than 150 presentations at national and international conferences. He has secured several external research funding sponsored by the government and related water resources companies/industries. He is ranked among the top 2.5% of the world's top researchers on ResearchGate. In 2020 and 2021, Dr. Bonakdari was classified in the list of 2% of the most influential people of science in the world.
