Emidia Vagnoni is Professor of Management Accounting at the University of Ferrara, where she combines the teaching activities about strategic control systems for organisations having inserted sustainability in their mission with research on sustainable business model, sustainability related accounting measures, sustainability reporting. The research activities are related to both the manufacturing industry and the healthcare organisations. She has published a wide range of articles and book chapters in both national and international outlets; among them the themes range from diversity and gender budgeting, to sustainable business model in community pharmacies; integrated reporting in healthcare organisation; sustainability performance management in both higher education institutions and SMEs; sustainable urban mobility; to mention some. She is currently leading the PhD Programme in Economics and Management of Innovation and Sustainability.
