Professor Haywantee Ramkissoon is a Research Professor (Full) of Tourism Marketing at the University of Derby, UK. She leads the visitor economy research group. She is also affiliated with The Arctic University of Norway and University of Johannesburg. Her scholarship in sustainability research e.g., sustainable tourism, place attachment, public health and pro-environmental behavior has gained international significance evidenced by media coverage, prestigious awards and academic and industry keynotes. Sheengages in collaborative research with national and international academic and industry partners for the benefits of individuals and society. Her editorial experience includes: book review editor, research note editor, special issues co-editor. She serves on several editorial advisory boards of top-tier journals and a reviewer across disciplines.
