Juan de Oña is Professor at the Civil Engineering Department (Transportation Section) at the University of Granada. He holds a M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (1996) and a Ph.D. in Transportation Engineering (2001) from the University of Granada. He is the Director of the Transportation and Safety (TRYSE) Research Group. His current fields of interest include travel behavior, transport planning and management, and road safety. He has more than 200 contributions to international scientific journals and conferences.
